Career Mentoring Program @ CDHAW and CDHK in cooperation with the Industry Advisory Board of the CDHAW
Dear students of the CDHAW and CDHK – Tongji University,
In cooperation with the Industry Advisory Board of the CDHAW we established a Career Mentoring Program for our Chinese and German students. Partners of this program are: Shanghai Volkswagen, Bentley Motors, FESTO, TLD-ASIA, Porsche, Kienbaum Consultants, Marquardt Switches and many more.
The Career Mentoring Program is designed to help you - as students of the CDHAW and CDHK - to explore occupational options and to accelerate your career development. You will be connected with industry professionals to help you to formulate career goals and how to execute them. The Mentors share with you information about their occupation and give you practical career advice. Through the program you can develop your professional network, and learn about various job functions, industries and organizations.
For this unique program we offer 12 excellent students the chance to participate an assessment center by the industry, to practice assessment center applications, and to finda high-profile mentor. To become a mentee, you have to apply for this program until October10th,2021. Please be assured that your personal profile will be treated in strict confidence during the selection process and disposed immediately thereafter.
The assessment center and the mentoring program 2021 is going to take place online, so no matter if you are in Germany or in China all chosen applicants are able to participate and meet their mentors online or offline as it suits.
The application should include:CV(English) and motivationletter(English) in onefile.
The motivation letter should not be longer than 500 words and include following aspects:

Previouseducation
Reasons for studying at CDHAW / CDHK in China
Possible influence on career development through studying at a University in Shanghai
First impression of China
Hobbies and social engagement
Duration of the program:November2021–July2022
Meetings:Will be scheduled individually between mentor and mentee.
