Cooperation between the CDHAW and enterprises

A visit to the Shanghai Volkswagen Factory.

On March 22, 2005, Prof. Feng Xiao, Director of the CDHAW, and the teachers of the Facutly of Automobile Service Engineering, visited the Shanghai Volkswagen Power Co., Ltd, to discuss the prospective possibilities of the future co-operation.

Director Feng Xiao introduced the CDHAW to the company's general manager Christian Koch, stressed the features of the German Model University of Applied Sciences, which emphasises the practical experiences during the study. Mr. Koch introduced the plant to the delegation. Mr. Koch said that the first-stage of the plant will be finished in 2 to 3 years and he is willing to offer lectures, graduation projects and various internships and employment opportunities to CDHAW students. Finally, Director Feng and the delegation visited the factory and the test workshop.
